Top five results from Zone 3 track and field meet
E.L. Crossley continued its winning tradition Monday at the Niagara Olympic Club by capturing its 12th straight Zone 3 track and field team title.
Coach Maryann Mergl couldn’t have been more proud of the 59 athletes who competed and advanced to next week’s Southern Ontario Secondary Schools Association meet. Crossley won the girls overall title with a smashing 228 to 99 points for A.N. Myer and won the boys overall with 128 points to 123 for runner-up Notre Dame with 123.
