BPSN contest
It’s time to win with BPSN!
Since our inception in 2017, BPSN has been all about serving our readers with the most comprehensive digital local sports coverage available anywhere in Canada.
We have posted almost 3,200 stories and countless pictures chronicling virtually every sport across Niagara. Interest in our content is high judging by the more than 1.7 million pages views we have recorded on our site.
We have been able to dedicate two full-time sports journalists (Bill and Bernie) to the task, thanks to generous advertisers who believe BPSN is a good way to promote local sports while also getting their message out to readers. In addition, we have forged partnerships with various sporting groups who see the value in our work. We encourage readers to click on their ads on our website, see what they have to offer and shop local to help businesses that are alway quick to offer support when community groups come calling.
Without this support, BPSN would not exist.
We believe in free access for our content and have never considered and never will consider a pay wall as part of our business model.
To help us to continue to provide unhindered content and make our site even better through equipment upgrades, we are asking our faithful readers to consider making a voluntary financial contribution to our site using the Support Us buttons on our websites. Many of you have done so already through one time or monthly contributions. It has been greatly appreciated and contributions have been used primarily to upgrade our camera equipment.
To entice even more readers to make a donation to our site, we have come up with a contest.
BPSN is offering four prizes to anyone who makes a donation to our site, regardless of the amount. In addition, anyone who has made a contribution to our site in the past three months will also be entered in the contest. The contest will run until March 1 at midnight. At that time, four names will be randomly selected and contacted as the winners.
Thanks to Jeff Chcoski at the Niagara Brew Club for generously donating a Free Batch of Wine, 30 bottles, valued at $135 while Dan Timmins at Big Red Markets in Thorold has donated a $100 gift certificate.
As well, the Niagara IceDogs have donated a framed, autographed picture of Akil Thomas scoring the golden goal for Canada at the 2020 World Junior Hockey Championships while the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games have donated a hoody.
Just hit the Support Us button located halfway down the right-hand side of our home page or the yellow Support Us button located at the top of each story to make your donation and be eligible to win.
Good luck!
