Following are Week 2 results from Niagara Regional Minor Football’s Monday Nights Under Armour Under the Lights Flag Football program played at Kiwanis Field.
Kindergarten to Grade 2 Division
Navy 24 Noles 24
Navy: Graydon Berardi ran for two TD’s and passed for one TD. Levi Preston scored a TD and led the team in receptions. Carter Bacon scored a TD and led the team in tackles (pulled flags).
Noles: Christian Lewis led the offence with three TDs and Roman D’Andreamatteo added one TD.
Navy 20 Army 0
Navy: Levi Preston had two TDs and a two-point convert. Graydon Berardi added a TD and passed for two TDs. Malaki Williams and Carter Bacon were dominant on Defence.
Army: Nothing reported.
Grade 3-4 Division
Stampeders 40 Alouettes 12
Stampeders: No information provided.
Alouettes: The Alouettes struggled on both sides of the ball in this game, coach said.
Alouettes 34 Edmonton 0
Alouettes: Fynnly Petrus snagged a great interception. Raelon Berardi scored two TDs. Emmit Aube scored with a pick six interception. Joshua Stromski led the team in tackles (flags pulled).
Edmonton: No information provided.
Grade 5-6 Division
Lions 16 Vikings 7
Lions: Hudson Metcalfe scored a TD and a one-point convert. Mark Hazzouri scored a TD. Mason Brenton had a one-point convert and great effort throughout the game.
Vikings: Carter Lunn scored a TD and a one-point convert.
Lions 32 Titans 24
Lions: Henley Shore played great on both sides of the ball. Nicholas Moore threw for four TDs. Hudson Metcalfe caught four TD passes. Mark Hazzouri scored a TD and added a two-point convert.
Titans: No information provided.
Grade 7-8 Division
Colts 38 Steelers 34
Colts: Hunter Gray caught four TDs, including one on the final play of the game. Jacob Lauzon and Cole Stayzer had one TD each. Dylan Pettay played well on defence.
Steelers: Adrian Fragnito scored two TDs and a one-point convert convert. Joey Paonessa had two TDs. Lincoln Pearson had one TD and two converts. Frankie Basilone had a TD and a convert.
Steelers 27 Bills 26
Steelers: Frankie Basilone had a TD. Joey Paonessa scored two TDs and three converts, Lincoln Pearson had a pick six. Lucas DeLibero threw for three TDs. Great defence from Ben Bourne and Emily Ganski.
Bills: Ajay Chahal had four big catches and played solid defence. Aiden Keus, Tyce Marcotte Young, Francesco Berlingieri and Joshua Gauslin all had a TD.
Colts 52 Buccaneers 22
Colts: Hunter Gray had three pick six TDs. Passing TDs from Alex Swec, Brett Wall and Jacob Lauzon. Two-point converts from Alex Swec, Jesse Russell and Ethan Lewis. Receiving TDs from Brett Wall, Lacob Lauzon and Jett Metcalfe.
Buccaneers: Calum Moore scored three TDs. Ryan Warren had a pair of two-point converts. Brock Maquire and Owen Chorley added scores.
Bills 40 Buccaneers 12
Bills: Tyce Marcotte-Young played excellent on both sides of the ball and scored two receiving TDs. Adam Skeldon had two receiving TDs and a two-point convert. Josh Keus, Russell Flintoft and Caleb Stout added scores.
Buccaneers: Joey Labuik and Maddox Davies scored TDs. Parker Van Riel and Quinn Vanaselja played great defence.
