Xavier Drummond was at it again for the St. Catharines Falcons Thursday night.
The veteran forward continued his fine play of late with two more goals, including the winner in double overtime, as the Falcons edged the Thorold Blackhawks 4-3 in a Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, Golden Horseshoe Conference game at the Thorold Arena.
Drummond, who netted a short-handed goal in the third period to give St. Catharines a 3-2 lead, scored the winner at 4:08 of the second, five-minute extra period.
The win lifts St. Catharines into a tie for fourth place with the Hawks with 19 points each. The Falcons hold a pair of games in hand.
Following a scoreless first period, the Falcons opened the scoring at the 12:19 mark of the second when Michael Santini netted his second of the season.
