NRHSAA senior football: Gryphons, Spartans victorious
The Greater Fort Erie Gryphons improved to 2-0 in Niagara Region High School Athletic Association Tier 1 football action Friday with a 32-0 victory over the visiting Centennial Cougars (0-2).

All three units performed well and we were able to play a lot of our players,” GFESS head coach Dave Sauer said. “A few our players that played on offence in the spring have transitioned to defence and have been performing well. We managed to get some turnovers and took advantage of them.”
The Gryphons hope to keep things rolling this week.
