OFSAA swimming results
Local athletes brought home five medals from the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) swimming championship held at the Toronto Pan Am Centre.
Horace Wong of Ridley College won gold in the boys 15 and over 50-metre freestyle in a time of 23.45 seconds.
Wong later teamed up with Luke Kelshall, Joshua Maloney and Alexander Bento to take gold in the boys 15 and over 200-metre. freestyle relay race.
Aidan Iapicco of St. Francis was awarded a silver in the boys 13-19 200-metre freestyle open.
Mackenzie Damiano of Laura Second was awarded a bronze in the girls 15 and over 200-metre freestyle race.
Chelsea Spence, Sierra Spence, Charlotte Chan and Kelsey Bowman from Sir Winston Churchill teamed up for a bronze in the girls 15 and over 200-metre medley relay.
Aya Colyer of St. Francis placed fourth in the girls 13-19 100-metre open backstroke.
Aidan Iapicco of St. Francis came in fourth in the boys 13-19-metre open breaststroke open
Andie Lloyd of Sir Winston Churchill was fourth in the girls 13-19 200-metre open individual medley.
Spence was fourth in the girls 15 and over 100-metre individual medley.
Brandon Bigger of Eden was fourth in the men’s 100-metre freestyle para event.
Kelshall placed fifth in the boys 15 and over 100-metre breaststroke.
