Semifinals set at Tribune Tournament

Semifinal matchups are set for Day 3 day of the 66th Annual Welland Tribune Basketball Tournament Friday at Notre Dame.

Winners will advance to Saturday’s finals at Notre Dame. The consolation championship will be held at 5:30 p.m. followed by the championship final at 7 p.m.

3:30 p.m.

Governor Simcoe vs. Saint Paul

5 p.m.

Holy Cross vs. Saint-Jean-de-Brebeuf

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND SEMIFINALS

6:30 p.m.

Eden vs. A.N. Myer

8 p.m.

Sir Winston vs. E.L. Crossley

He took a voluntary buyout from the St. Catharines Standard in early 2017. By his estimation he has covered more than 1,500 junior hockey games. His passion is baseball but hockey is a close second. His guilty pleasure is professional wrestling, specifically the glory years of the National Wrestling Alliance.
