Semifinal action in both the consolation round and championship rounds at the 60th Annual Standard High School Basketball Tournament takes place Thursday at Ridley College.

THURSDAY

RIDLEY COLLEGE

Consolation round

Holy Cross vs. Smithville Christian, 3 p.m.

Ridley vs. E.L. Crossley, 4:30 p.m.

Championship round

Eden vs. Sir Winston, 6 p.m.

St. Francis vs. Denis Morris, 7:30 p.m.

He took a voluntary buyout from the St. Catharines Standard in early 2017. By his estimation he has covered more than 1,500 junior hockey games. His passion is baseball but hockey is a close second. His guilty pleasure is professional wrestling, specifically the glory years of the National Wrestling Alliance.
