Calling all scholarship recepients. BP Sports Niagara wants to tell your story.
With the summer finally here following a horrific winter, it’s time to take a step back and enjoy some heat and a little down time from the hectic pace of spring, fall and winter sports.
With fewer games and events to cover, the summer months afford us the opportunity to focus more of our resources on feature stories.
Athletes who have received scholarships, in any sport, are always a good read, particularly in the summer when high school sports are on hiatus and hockey takes a break. We have already done countless stories on graduating high school seniors off to play post-secondary sports and would love to write about as many of the others as possible
Please feel free to email us with scholarship stories — or any other story ideas for that matter — at bpsportsniagara@cogeco.ca. Please include a contact for the athlete, if possible.
As well, any athletes who have gone away on a scholarship and would like to share their experiences are more than welcome to contact us.
