Top five girls SOSSA track and field results
Eastdale’s Trinity Tutti had the top performance in the girls division Thursday at the Southern Ontario Secondary Schools Association track and field meet at the Niagara Olympic Club.
Tutti set SOSSA records in both the senior girls shot put (14.39 m) and discus (48.65 m).
Grimsby’s Sienna Lalonde added a SOSSA record in the senior girls 400-metre hurdles with a time of 1:05.28.
Other record breakers were Collegiate’s Cassandra Kemp in the 100-metre intellectual disability (15.66 seconds) and Governor Simcoe’s Kanice McLean in the 200-metre wheelchair event (1:51.01)
Beamsville’s Shannon Swinson also broke the record in the 100-metre intellectual disability with a time of 15.85 seconds.
E.L. Crossley from Fonthill dominated the team events by winning the boys, girls and overall crowns.
