Tribune tournament semifinal matchups

Semifinal action in both the consolation and championship rounds at the 68th Annual Welland Tribune Basketball Tournament takes place at Notre Dame Friday.

Friday

Championship round

Saint Paul vs. Governor Simcoe, 6:30 p.m.

Notre Dame vs. A.N. Myer, 8 p.m.

Consolation round

Holy Cross vs. Lakeshore Catholic, 3:30 p.m.

Centennial vs. St. Jean-de-Brebeuf, 5 p.m.

Cash-only admission for games on Friday and Saturday is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

He took a voluntary buyout from the St. Catharines Standard in early 2017. By his estimation he has covered more than 1,500 junior hockey games. His passion is baseball but hockey is a close second. His guilty pleasure is professional wrestling, specifically the glory years of the National Wrestling Alliance.
